He also claimed there would be unprecedented civil-unrest after the election and that a coalition of countries would go to war with Israel causing God to intervene causing the enemies of Israel to become confused leading them to kill each other.
He goes on to claim a period of five peaceful years will follow before an asteroid impacts the world just before the arrival of Jesus Christ. The televangelist had made similar predictions in the past, saying in 1976 the world would end in 1982. His 1990 book “The New Millennium” anticipated the end of time on April 29, 2007, so we should take his prediction with a pinch of salt, right?
Wrong, all the above predictions are prophesied in the Bible and they will all happen leading up to the return of Jesus Christ. Let me explain;
After the election, America will be a split country, it already is. Civil unrest will explode, millions will be unable to work due to Corona, families will become evicted from their homes, the economy will crash and millions will become hungry causing even more civil unrest. A civil war will finally break the worlds number one superpower into a confused, unmanageable mess. But America is not mentioned in the Bible, right? Wrong.
There is a prophecy which was written more than 2,500 years ago which worryingly describes "America" as a meek onlooker who can only protest but not protect Israel when they are attacked by a Russian, Iranian, Turkish and Syrian coalition and may just provide an insight into the near future of the worlds biggest super-power.
As we know, the US has been hit harder than any other country from Covid-19, and an economical collapse seems inevitable, its people are bitterly divided, hate-filled riots are happening on a daily basis with many decent citizens having to move from suburbs as murder and crime soar. Civil war is on many peoples lips and American enemies around the world are waiting like vultures ready to scavenge the left-overs as civil unrest consumes the country.
The prophecy in the book of Ezekiel, Chapter 38, is a warning of an attack on Israel in the future, from a group of nations led by someone called Gog, who comes from Magog. Magog is said to be North West of the Caspian Sea, there are just two countries North West of the Caspian Sea, Kazakhstan and Russia. Gog is the head chieftain, (leader) of Meshech and Tubal which according to Wikipedia is a Japhetite tribe. However, the Indo-European group is no longer known as "Japhetite", the Hamitic group is now recognized as paraphyletic within the Afro-Asiatic family. Among Muslim historians, Japheth is usually regarded as the ancestor of the Gog and Magog tribes. According to Delilah Ann Gill, Ghayin, (Hebrew) later shortened to G, is a twisted rope or a twisted dark goat horn thus it is Gog: Dark and Twisted:
Ezekiel goes on to say Persia, Ethiopia and Put are among the coalition, Persia is modern-day Iran, (Iran's leaders despise Israel and would dearly love to wipe it off the map) and Put, which is thought to be Lybia. In verse 8, Ezekiel mentions the fact, that after many years of being left desolated, the inhabitants of the land (Jews) have been restored to Israel and will be living in peace and security at the time of the attack. Part of this prophecy was established in 1948 when the Jews regained their land after they had lost it 2,000 years earlier, however, they are obviously not living in peace and security at the moment but in September a surprising peace deal has been reached between Isreal the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, becoming the third and fourth Arab country to make peace after Egypt and Jordan, Sudan has also reached a peace deal with Israel.
According to The Jerusalem Post, there are rumours that several other states could be next to sign an agreement with Israel. While there are hurdles to normalizing relations with some states in the Middle East, there are others who view the UAE decision as a trial balloon and will react positively based on how the next weeks and months play out between Jerusalem and Abu Dhabi. Those countries are as follows, Bahrain, Oman, Morocco, Saudia Arabia, (who are mentioned later as an ally of the US) and Qatar, so as you can see, Israel living in peace and security could be not very far away.
In verse 11 of Ezekiel 38, he claims, the coalition of enemies of Israel will invade the land of unprotected settlements to take much spoil and plunder. Ezekiel 13 claims, Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and its "young lions," will say to (Gog), "are you invading to get much spoil and plunder?" " Have you assembled your armies to carry off silver and gold?
Sheba and Dedan are what's now called Saudi Arabia and they are allies of Tarshish and its young lions. Tarshish is almost certainly the UK and was mentioned in the Bible as far back as Genesis 10. Tarshish translates to the "Tin Isles." Tin was needed in ancient times to make bronze, tin has been mined in Britain for thousands of years, something not mined in great quantities anywhere else in Europe. The “merchants of Tarshish and the young lions thereof” are the offshoots of Britain from their Empire days, the US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Britain ruled the oceans and used their ships to connect the world with ocean shipping roots which are exploited today by its "young lions, " The mighty US among others. Full story
What is interesting to note here is the fact that Israel's staunch allies of today, the US and the UK appear not to be able to defend Israel from the Magog coalition and merely ask Gog in a weak response, "are you invading to get much spoil and plunder?" "Have you assembled your armies to carry off silver and gold?" A polite, meek diplomatic protest rather than a threat of retaliation. Has the US lost its "Super Power" status in the future? Have today's problems brought the country to its knees in the future?
Another clue as to the state of our planet is seen in verse 15, of Ezekiel 38, which describes a vast army coming from the remotest parts of the North all of them riding on horses, you would expect the Russian army would arrive in tanks but clearly, horses are emphasised.
In verse 19, Ezekiel speaks of a great earthquake, an earthquake which causes every living thing on the earth to tremble and every wall to collapse to the ground. Once again Jehovah warns us he will bring pestilence, bloodshed and He will rain down hailstones, fire and sulphur.
Is this the same earthquake mentioned in Isaiah 24:19? The earth is utterly broken apart, the earth is split open, the earth is shaken violently. 20 The earth staggers like a drunkard and sways like a shack. Earth’s rebellion weighs it down, and it falls, never to rise again.
And in Revelation 6:12? And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs when she is shaken of a mighty wind. 14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
Is the earthquake caused by a solar flare? In Revelation 8:7 John appears to describe a coronal mass ejection; The first angel sounded and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
And then the asteroid?
Revelation 8:10 The third angel sounded his trumpet, and a great star, blazing like a torch, fell from the sky on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water— 11 the name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters turned bitter, and many people died from the waters that had become bitter.
NASA and the asteroid named after the evil Egyptian serpent god Apophis, lord of chaos and darkness
Named after the evil Egyptian serpent god Apophis, lord of chaos and darkness -- and recently dubbed the "doomsday asteroid" -- flies past Earth every seven years. This year, its 1,000-foot bulk approached to within 9 million miles. However, in 2029, it will swoop in close enough to put some of our orbiting satellites in peril -- 20,000 miles. In that year, no doubt Apophis will arouse even more attention because it will be visible in the daytime sky. Yet there's always a possibility we don't have these measurements exactly right. Something could happen at any point in Apophis' orbit to modify its course, just a smidgen. A tiny collision with another object, way out beyond Mars? What could change between now and 2029, or during any orbit thereafter?
Apophis masses at more than 20 million tons. If it hit Earth, the impact would unleash a blast the equivalent of over a billion tons of TNT. That's not an extinction event, but it could easily cause billions of deaths and months, if not years, of climate disruption. Full Story
What is wonderful about Ezekiel 38, is the fact that it is a prophecy which has partly been fulfilled, Israel was returned to the Jews back in 1948 as mentioned in chapter 8 and the fact that the Saudi's are allied with Tarshish and its young lions, the UK and the US. Another part of the prophecy appears to be unfolding with Bahrain, Oman, Morocco, Saudia Arabia, Qatar, following the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon and Egypt signing a peace deal with Israel. So as you can see, Israel living in peace and security could be not very far away. And not to forget the alliance of Russia, Iran and Turkey at this historical moment of time. By the way, Iran is fighting a proxy war with Saudi Arabia and Iran, the US, Russia and Turkey are all embroiled in the current Syrian conflict.
