Marching On Together

Marching On Together I have had a romance with a lady since my childhood just like thousands of other people around the world who are also in love with her. I have remained in love with her through the many bad times and the few good times, my love for her has never faltered and never will. My lady's name is Leeds United and she is just five games away from returning to the English Football Premiership, after sixteen years in the football wilderness. In the sixties, seventies and early nineties my lady was known as "Super Leeds," however in 2003, my love was relegated from the English Football Premiership due to financial miss-handling by her owners. "Super Leeds," dropped down to the third tier of English football. If Leeds United can grab ten points from their last five games my lady will be back where she belongs in the higher echelons of English football and I can once more embrace my love with happiness.

Leeds 5 v 0 Stoke, 7 points needed from 4 games...

A mag 6.8 - MINDANAO, PHILIPPINES is only the 6th major quake of April: Incredibly 2017 is the lowest amount of major quakes so far since the 1960's

A magnitude 6.8 rocked the Philippines last night but unless we have fireworks in the next couple of days the first 4 months of 2017 has incredibly delivered the lowest amount of major quakes since the 1960’s
Last nights major quake was only the 6th of April and only the 25th of an incredibly quiet 2017
Once again the quake was downgraded from a magnitude 7.2 to a 6.8 by USGS.
As the latest Coronal hole (the main quake factor) has now turned away from facing Earth NOAA forecasters say that G2-class geomagnetic storms are possible on May 19-20, nearly a month away, when a solar wind stream is expected to hit Earth's magnetic field.
This is the same stream that hit Earth on April 24-25, sparking bright auroras around both poles.
In May, it will return for another lashing as the sun's rotation turns the underlying coronal hole back toward our planet.

We could be in for another incredibly quiet month for major quakes in May!
