Marching On Together

Marching On Together I have had a romance with a lady since my childhood just like thousands of other people around the world who are also in love with her. I have remained in love with her through the many bad times and the few good times, my love for her has never faltered and never will. My lady's name is Leeds United and she is just five games away from returning to the English Football Premiership, after sixteen years in the football wilderness. In the sixties, seventies and early nineties my lady was known as "Super Leeds," however in 2003, my love was relegated from the English Football Premiership due to financial miss-handling by her owners. "Super Leeds," dropped down to the third tier of English football. If Leeds United can grab ten points from their last five games my lady will be back where she belongs in the higher echelons of English football and I can once more embrace my love with happiness.

Leeds 5 v 0 Stoke, 7 points needed from 4 games...

A mag 6.8 in Alaska is the first major quake of June but only the 37th of 2017 this fall in recorded major quakes is unprecedented in modern times

A magnitude 6.8 - 203km NW of Attu Station, Alaska is the first major quake of June and the 37th of the quietest year of recorded major quakes in nearly 70 years.
The incredible fact here is yesterday's quake is only the 37th major quake of 2017 which is the smallest amount at the end of May since the early 1950’s…
At this point in 2011, the year of the Fukushima disaster 119 major quakes had been recorded
What makes this shortage of major quakes more astonishing is the fact major quakes have increased by more than 400% since the early 1900’s and what is happening this year is an unprecedented turn around.
What is happening is reminiscent of a stock market crash, it’s unheard of in decades, it’s a huge anomaly and it shouldn’t be happening but it is!
35 of this year’s major quakes are mag 6, to 6.9, with only two higher than 6.9, a mag 7.9 - Papua New Guinea being the biggest and a M 7.3 - in the Philippines.
This fall in recorded major quakes is unprecedented in modern times.
